Hhmm...... 95% complete, have some problems with that statement. Looks like it would be a sweet project, to bad I don't live in OR anymore.

The car is mine.It is missing the front bumper and has the incorrect alternator,otherwise everything is there.The frame as well as the rest of the car is very solid.I have tons of pics as stated in the ad to email to anyone interested.I also have 100% positive feedback.

Sorry, I just got screwed by an ebaY deal that my a legal council
will attend too. nothing to brutal but still , we do have eyes and know if there's rust that's unrepeatable and such.
As well as the fact that if a simple compression check or a look under a vehicle is not brain surgery?

No the guy that tryed to pull one over on me, was clear in his discription of the car , and it's about time to legalize ebay dealings? seperate the weeds from the wheat ?
so this guy will get A FRAUD charge agaist him, and maybe go to jail. If he did have any lack of knowlege it certainly was not involved in this car. I/E cosmetic.
After numerous phone talks the guy assured me the car was correct. Hah , he dosent know i recoreded every bit.
It's rare i feel this way about a deal but..

What are you trying to get pricewise for the car?

re-chroming and other obvious stuff will not be cheap. I've seen a lovely example go for just under $20. These cars are unusual at either old car shows or Mercedes gatherings, and so may be worth the money and trouble.

Vendors in the back of The Star may be able to help with parts, but I don't think these were ever imported in a formal manner into the US...the early Studebaker-Packard import effort for MB focused (I'm pretty sure) on the big 300s.
