6.3 battery cables

I am looking to clean my battery cables and before I jumped into it, I was wondering if the end of the positive cable on the starter is accessible from under the car? I seem to recall if you remove the starter, there is a bolt that you need to go through an access panel inside the car, and I was wondering if the cable required the same route.

Considering that the engine is so big you might have to get at it from underneath the car. Ask over on the M100 forum, lots of gurus there.
