Any help would be appreciated. My 87 300SEL (euro model) starts fine and runs fine until it hits operating temp (about 88) then my car doesn't want to accelerate and shakes alot when stopped. Sometime when I accelerate and bump along till I hit 25-30 then it all of a sudden takes off. Just had fuel pump relay replaced--no help. I thought maybe clogged fuel filter--but think that it would always run bad if it was clogged??
Anywat I am a new member and really do need some advise.

Have you checked the connections on top of the coolant temperature sensor? They might be loose or broken off.

Does your car have the diagnostic port? Have you checked the output?
