Gauges (aftermarket) in a non-diesel 116
I like gauges and lights and switches.
in a Gasser Mercedes, what things would someone want to monitor with a gauge, besides the obvious... Trans temp? oil temp? Vacuum? fuel pressure?

I like gauges too. I think vacuum is a must, but it should be in engine compartment.

My personal favs are to have the usual water, oil, amp.
Trans temp would be nice since I am having another transmission put in my 450 and want to take care of it.

Just don't overdo it...
![]() My VW has gauges due to the lack of anything but a speedometer, fuel gauge and ididot lights for everything else. I happen to prefer the AutoMeter gauges, but VDO is probably more correct for German cars: ![]() ![]()
