I loosened the AC compressor to chase down a stub of quarter inch rubber vacuum hose. The other end of the hose disappears behind the tensioner and water pump. A little tug and it came off (@#$%^&*!). It's about a foot long and it appears that whatever it attaches to has a nipple pointing down. It's not long enough to be connected directly to the intake manifold, or anywhere near the cruise control actuator (or whatever that thing is hiding under the intake manifold).
Come to think of it, I may have disturbed it when I replaced the belt tensioner. Any thoughts and an engine vacuum diagram will be appreciated. Thanks, Sixto 91 300SE |
