my 1987 300e shakes at acceleration and then after that it would just be normal its hard for any one to drive coz it will take about 3 sec. to accelerate after you step on the gas what seems to be the problem

Probably time for a tune-up. Plugs, cap, rotor, plug wires, and various fuel system goodies.

i know that some mercedes are program to start at second gear unless floored does that count on my mercedes too.
