Pulling the skin off is about like pulling full length pj's off a grandchild.
yep you still got it!

disarticulate the neck remove the head be ready to hang the rabbit to deglove the skin.

I am allergic to rabbits so avoid them mostly, but have dressed a few domestics wearing long AI gloves and a particle mask. The instructions given above are all good, but I am wondering how you plan to dispatch your bunny?
I would NOT kill the rabbit and then take it home to dress for the stated reason above. I'd take it home live and do the entire process there. Best do it when the missus isn't home or you'll end up with a pet rabbit.

Thats the part im considering how best to do. Seems like the most humane way is to break its neck quickly in some fashion

These guys sell a pretty simple and humane looking setup, the video is giving me a lot of ideas of what I can rig up to do the job, aside from attempting a clean break with my hands

Don't attempt a clean break with your hands. Harder than you'd think and not humane. Your meat will be flooded with adrenaline and tough.
80 bucks seems pretty pricey unless you're going to slaughter whole litters on a regular basis. On the other hand I am a stickler for humane slaughter, really a little obsessive about it. If I were you that's the one I'd get.

A .22 cb cap to the crown of the head as if you want it to exit the rabbit's nose will do the trick. That's how I've done it in the past.

I was thinking along the lines of welding a piece of tubing to a piece of angle iron I have laying around and blatantly copying that thing they are using. Then id screw it to a wall and it would be available for later

If you can't be handsome, at least be handy.

That only works is he's using duct tape.

My dad used to break the neck first to give him a better shot at just lopping the head off with a large pair of shears. He'd then slit and gut it, then de-glove the carcass.

This reminds me of a story from my childhood. I used to raise rabbits for show in 4H when I was a child. I came home from school, and began to feed my prize rabbit, Sandy, one that had won 3 blue ribbons for at the county fair...only to find that it wasn't there. I asked my mom if she knew where it went, and she told me to ask my dad, who was behind the barn. There he was, cleaning a carcass that was once Sandy.

I was in tears until dad told me that you never name your food. That reminded me why I raised the animal...it was food.

Sandy tasted great...along side mashed potatoes and fresh green beans.

exactly what i did was copy what they have here, it's not stealing if you make one for personal use, it is if you go into biz copying and selling them yourself.... just saying
