extending chair handicap van
I saw at a car show years ago a Chevy minivan conversion in which a mechanism set a second row seat over the sidewalk and pulled it back with a less-than-able passenger. Does anyone know who makes these mechanisms? My searches result in wheelchair ramps and lifts.
This is the closest I can find - Turning Automotive Seating for Accessible Vehicles | Bruno Turny Seats, Turnout Chairs, and Compact Lift-Up Seating - but it doesn't address the height of the seat off the pavement or sidewalk. Thanks, Sixto 87 300D |

Thanks for your link. That's a better image and description of what I had in mind.

I had a Dodge one-ton that was equipped with a wheelchair life. It had so much power I could lift the side of the van with it.
It was rated at 1500 pounds and I used it like a Tommy Lift. It was great for picking up small engines or transmissions. |
