Ever since installing windows 7 the microphone has not worked. I cannot find the proper drivers to get it working. I found one but it did not do a thing. I am running Windows 7 64 bit

That is because there is no such thing as a microphone driver unless it is USB, which yours is not. You need to get the drivers for the audio chipset of that computer, then the microphone will work.

Download and install this:

And you'll be set.
