Maybe he asks because we hear a lot of the latter but don't seem to remember any of our comments on the former. We seem to get a lot of the blame from you. Did you even mention the part where Hussein did a lot of fancy footwork which made all this happen?

You don't begin to understand what I'm trying to say. Does it strike you as curious that those who use the most brutal means of torture, such as in the AQ materials, are the weakest, the least powerful, therefor the most desperate? I say it's their barbaric nature that keeps them weak. It keeps them in a state of semi-savage anger. They and their cronies don't really have much of a chance to advance beyond their ignorant state while embracing such attitudes.

Do you really think that we should adopt their methods? That those of us who carry out those methods won't be stained and diminished by the doing of it? We have plenty of vets coming home now with that stain on their souls and the results so far, not often discussed, aren't looking too good.

Courage in battle is to be admired. Abusing people under your power, people in custody, is not courageous in any way.

And in spite of all that, who won in Nam? The stronger guy?

To answer your question, YES!. Are you certain that the vets that come back aren't having issues because of the rules of engagement? The ones controlled by that stupid Geneva Conventions rags?

Oh, and reaping what they sowed doesn't seem to come into the picture here? Why is it only so for one side and not the other?Maybe this torture is what they get for what they did? Or does that only apply to this side?
