If you can not accept that there are low milage cars out there then fine. You could not afford it anyway most of you. Have a nice day. I never thought it was BS - that car was a great find and the condition spoke for itself. The hardest part about selling a car like that is actually getting paid after the auction. Don't worry about the cynics; they're everywhere.

I personally would never buy a low mileage, older car, they tend to have problems with seals. A while back I was talking to a salesman at a dealer, and he bought a few older, low mileage Mercedes, and all the seals were shot due to lack of use... To me, they aren't really worth that much to me. I am also cheap, so I wouldn't spend $12k in the first place...

I did until I came across this today:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=120350350315

Same seller. The only reason I figured he was real was because the photos of the car looked very good, and Navasota, Texas is about 20m away from my work. Small, small town.

In post 66 he makes mention of this car, although he states it is in the 40,000 mile range. Nice looking car.

For the kind of money he is trying to get for the things, he could have at least put the correct batteries, and decent ones at that .

It's a no reserve auction.

POS, Why don't you take a little drive to my house tomorrow and I will show you the car myself? Do you really think the car is not real? Bring your low mileage 300D with you.

I'm in Houston this weekend, but thanks for the invite. You got two of those cars at the same time from the same place (I just re-read that part of your original post)? Crap, you're lucky; you should make some serious bucks off those two cars.
