Yesterday I went in and got my latest batch of bladder stones removed. The doc complained about the size of my prostate after the procedure, saying it made him tear me up a bit, so I had a long afternoon waiting to go home. It was bleeding significantly.

The upside is that I slept 7 hours non stop in my recliner and woke up feeling pretty good. I am still bleeding some. I will go today and try to get some additional bag holding accessories so I can hang it on my calf with my junk heading left instead of right (who doesn't know that most of us hang left (not a political statement)???

i envy your working space, car looks nice .

Recliners, I can't live without one since breaking so many bones .

Hopefully the bleeding will stop, not sure if your prostate is big or small.....?

Usually with age it is an enlarged prostate that diminishes the passage through it I believe. For some unknown reason I still have the prostate of a young man. For what good it does me now.

My last minor issue was having a dorsal cut on the penis as the foreskin was progressively shrinking. This made the foreskin and the uroligists job of getting into the passage difficult with time. Being non retractable enough. The hygene issues where not ideal either. Now the foreskin retracts again.

Worked out surprisingly well. I was not really enthused about having a circumcision. The urologist decided this was a better approach. I did not want too much work performed that close to my brain anyways.

I am still waiting for some person to ask me when I last had sex. So I can respond with. I just do not know as I am not wearing my watch.

So sorry to hear about your stones-I just got a kidney stone diagnosed last week because of blood in my urine. Had a CAT scan done and dr said it's too big to pass. they put me on potassium citrate and a lot of fluids to try and dissolve it before surgery. I passed a stone a few years ago and it was not good. As I am finding out once one hits 60 things start to change. My PSA has quadrupled in 3 years. My Urologist is my new best friend.

Post Aging Issues

I hope the young bucks here are paying close attention as most all of these ills await them too .

Part of why I like to remain active .

The quadrupled PSA'a is a serious thing, best have a close look, something might be amiss that you can catch early......

They have me scheduled for a biopsy next month. DRI was fine, PSA was 5.9 about 6mos ago, retest was 4.6 last week. I have been very diligent having DRI and PSA done for many years.

Post The Dreaded _cancer_

For those who don't fully understand what your PSA levels are and what a .01 increase can mean, goo look up a blog by " snowbum " and read it fully ~ he paid attention when his raised a tiny bit and his Doctor said 'no worries' ~ his following up saved his life so read it and pay attention .

I had to go back at 300 pm and got the catheter back in since I was not flowing much of anything. Hopefully the swelling will go down and I'll get some Flomax and it will work out.

I went on Flomax last week(having to urinate like 40 times a day). mixed results so far but I'm drinking a lot of fluids for the kidney stones so have to factor that in.

Question Endless Peeing

I wonder about this ~ I have a *very* strong flow but often need to pee every 45 minutes....

Yes, I drink a lot of water, coffee & tea but I always have and didn't use to have to go twice or more every night .
