Suggestions - Cheap Battery Charger
Fried the last one. I just want to spend about $75 or so, if possible. Thinking of getting one at Walmart.
This is just for occasional use when I let a car sit too long. Any suggestions? Thanks Al |

Buy a trickle charger with a shut off (so it won't overcharge) <$10 at Harbor Freight and leave it attached during those periods of intermittent use. Having a battery go dead is no good for the battery.

Also will be used for charging other vehicles, such as MIL's ('73 SE w/50K miles - 1 owner) which doesn't get out much. |

I second the trickle charger (or "battery tender"). No harm in letting it sit outside; it's tiny, and will fit under the hood. I have one in my TR6 to keep that battery fresh, and I just run an extension cord under the hood to it. For $20 you can buy two and keep both cars topped up at all times.
