Fs: New First Aid Kit,never Touched
I HAVE A FIRST AID KIT THAT CAME IN MY 85 300SD, AND I NO LONGER HAVE THE COMPARTMENTS IN MY BACK DASH, SO I HAVE NO PLACE TO PUT THIS....
THIS KIT HAS NEVER EVEN BEEN LOOKED AT FUNNY, MUCH LESS USED...THIS WOULD BE GREAT FOR SOMEONE WHO IS RESTORING AN OLDER MERCEDES OR FOR THE GUY WHO WANTS TO BE READY FOR ANYTHING....I DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT THE THING IS WORTH, SO MAKE ME SOME OFFERS.... EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS...I HAVE PICTURES ALSO...I JUST CANT GET THEM TO UPLOAD ON HERE

I just made my own first aid kit...Diapers, tape, band aid, safety pin, needle and thread, bobby pin, tissue, condom, cotton, gauze, portable flashlight, a tampon was going to go into the kit too, but this is my car...so I had VETO power...hehehehe - I really would have gotten an ear full from my friends if I allowed that. Not the original OEM stuff, but it stuff you might need in an emergency.
What's kind of stuff is in the orginal OEM First Aid Kit?

My current MB ('82 300CD) was missing it's first aid kit, so I don't know if the sedans are different, but my euro spec '84 300TD first aid kit had enough supplies and tools in it for minor surgury. It was pretty impressive.

heres whats in mine...although im sure some are different for other year model cars.
1adhesive tape, A 5x2.5 1 bandage, E 50x6 3 bandages, E 10x6 1 field dressing 3 field dressings 1 scald-bandaging-cloth 3 field dressings for burns 6 gauze-bandages, MB 20-8, ZW/bw 3 gauze-bandages, MB 20-6, ZW/bw 1 package containing 5 cellulose-gauze swabs with bilateral gauze tarnish, 100mmx100mm, single packed, sterilized 5 triangular bandages, 90x90x127cm, white, single packed 1 pair of bandage scissors 12 safety pins 1 booklet giving first aid instructions 1 specification of contents 1 piece of white chalk

my 82 300d first aid kit
My 82 300d first aid kit has enough gauze and tape to handle several amputations out of the one kit. Those high speed German freeways must have some horrific accidents. Are all German drivers required to be paramedics? I paid $7 at pick-n-pull for mine it had never been opened, It looked like the compartment it was stored in was never opened. I have seen them on Ebay for $50.00
