looking for clear turn signals for 1979-85 300td (wagon) ALSO clear tail lights (I thought i saw them for the wagon - any info would be helpful)

www.lightlens.com may have some.

i don't think you'll find tails for a w123 wagen, i don't know if anyone makes them

On the wagons the directional and taillights
are one piece.
And clear one are not available(yet,maybe never).

I was thinking of making some myself.

I see two possible ways.

1)Buy some clear or patterned plastic,some
like those light covers seen in stores.
And then cut and form a lens out of his material.
I got this of off the web.

2)Somehow make a mold of the original lens.
Fiberglass would be the most likely choice for this.
Then melt in a bain marrie(pot in a pot with boiling
water)the clear plastic material.
Then pour liquid in the mold.
You need to coat the lens with vaseline so the
fiberglass won't stick to the lens.

I could just be talking crap here since I haven't tried
it and I have no idea if this would be at all possible.
But I do have a spare set of lenses so I might just
try it soon.
