This is my mod'd lift pump spring for the OM616 and OM617 family of engines. I have installed 193 of these over the years.

I have seven left and instead of doing the pump rebuild service, I am selling a kit for folks to rebuild their own.

Each kit is $59.00 Each kit contains the below:

Each kit comes with one of my mod'd spring which enhances fuel pressure, one Bosch gasket, and a selection of O rings. Because I cannot know which size your lift pump uses, I have included all of them, plus a spare. Therefore, this kit should last you one rebuild and an O-ring replacement down the road. If you cannot use the other O-rings, just toss them or use them for something else. This means your lift pump is good for or should be good for 200K miles or so. The O-ring and the spring is a wear item. There are two plastic valves and two other springs, but those rarely fail and those are not included.
