The site has been hacked somehow. PMs are constantly being “recycled” so my responses are not reaching their correct destination but a fraudster ends up with my response who then pings the originally intended recipient but it looks like me. My PMs keep popping up as if I never opened them too. Lol. My avatar has been swiped by a fraudster too. I reported it to the forum but I don’t they care at all. More interest banning folks saying the “wrong” things

Whoever this person is, they swiped my Avatar and my info somehow. I reported this to the forum, but I have not received any feedback.

By the way I have an OM603, my ‘86 SDL and I don’t know what an OFV is.

One thing this thread has perhaps enlightened me about, I clicked on Diseasel300’s Recent posts button and I thought he perhaps passed away several years ago. I’m pretty sure it’s been about three years since I quit seeing posts from him. And yet here he is posting about a year ago.

This site has been invaded by scammers.

The OFV has a spring inside of it. That spring wears out over time. Folks somehow believe that if you take the spring and stretch it out, it somehow renews the spring. It actually makes it worse. The OFV is on the inboard side of the IP, between the IP and block. You can follow the clear fuel line down to it.

I finally got annoyed by a couple of jackasses handing out downright WRONG or destructive information to a couple of people a few years ago and pulled the plug. I check in from time to time, but I'm not active here. I am building yet another 300SDL, but no point posting here about it.
That’s a shame. You have a ton of great research and expertise on these cars.

I just reported the scammer in this thread.

Have you changed your password to something complex? That’s job #1. Then re-verifying that your computer isn’t infected with malware, and that your email account pw is also changed/secure.

Good luck.

I have a few sets of injectors I need to send your way…

I have increased the price for the remaining few I have. $75.00 shipped. This includes $100 worth of insurance, USPS, Priority Mail. This OFV has my mod'd spring and is rebuildable like the OM616/617 OFV.

The OEM OM606 603 did not come with a rebuildable OFV.
