Update: Rails sold to disqo, tensioner still available! The tensioner should work with all 61X engines except for the 617 turbo...

I got these from the PO of my '84, who said he ordered them from Germany for a 300D NA that he no longer had. Included here are all four timing chain rails, applicable across the OM61X range, and a tensioner which is used on all non-turbo 61X engines (615, 616, 617 Nonturbo).

As far as price, the Febi versions of the four chain rails total $50.25 and the Febi tensioner is $63.25 (so all five total $113.50).

The price for the genuine parts, (from MB Westwood's site), would come to $147.76 for the four guides and $198 for the tensioner. All five would total $345.76.

I'm willing to sell the tensioner and guides separately but would like to keep the guides together.

I don't know what I should ask for these, so go ahead and PM or e-mail me an offer. I'd obviously want more than the Febi parts go for, but I am not expecting to get the full dealer price, either.

A bump for Jooseppi's timing chain related parts. I realized that I was unable to offer him a fair price for these parts, so I wanted to be sure that everyone knows they are still for sale.

As an aside, the MB prices he quotes above are some of the lowest prices one could find for dealer parts. They are not the very high retail prices you get quoted if you walk into a dealer parts counter. So that was very fair of him to share MB prices which are lower than most of us could find easily.
