I have an 86 SDL that had hit a deer in the front. The car will need a front clip. I would not use this car as it has also had the sunroof sealed off and is quite musty interior wise.

I bought the car from the original owners last year. The car has been started every couple of months since.

The car has had a very good service life having been owned it's entire life by a diesel repair facility with a factory trained MB tech doing all of the maintenance. I would consider the value in the engine and transmission.

The car has 265k on it.

The engine has been serviced twice having the later cylinder head installed appx 100k ago. The entire engine was disassembled appx 150k ago and was refreshened. I have a pair of file folders that are literally 4" thick from service on this car. All oil services from day one had an oil survey done. The transmission was rebuilt appx 80k miles ago.

Both the engine and transmission are in good shape and the car can be lot/test driven. I bought it to install the engine and trans in another vehicle. Too many projects.
