FS: NOS Bundt 14" wheel

FS: NOS Bundt 14" wheel - $150

This wheel and tire were taken from a wrecked MB. The wheel has the original silver powder coating and the tire is a factory original Michelin which still has the talc and wear nubs on it. I don't recommend using the tire except in a dire emergency because of its age, but if you have a cherry MB and want to show off what a factory wheel and tire looks like then here you go.

The wheel is in great shape, with just a few small scratches that you could touch up or polish out if you're really persnickety. I understand that new wheels go for $300 when you can find them and that they are getting scarce, so I think this price is fair. I'm in San Diego and I may be able to meet you somewhere in SoCal or ship it to you depending on where you are located. Drop me a line and let's talk!

Sorry to say it but this forum is extremely picky and most 14" bundts are worth $25-50 at the junkyard as there are so many available and that does look like a bundt pulled from a junkyard car at Ecology which many already have.

It appears to be in nice shape but unless it was a pristine 15" bundt I don't think anyone's going to bite at $250...

Well there are some people here who seem to think these wheels are more valuable than that:

That said I just lowered my price to $200.

Sev,

Thanks for letting me know. Since they can only be getting more rare I will hang onto mine if it doesn't sell. Re diametrical's post, not everyone has the time or patience to troll the pick-aparts to find that perfect wheel, and for many of us "time is money"...

p.s. - Sev, I've read AS many times, along with the Fountainhead. Seminal books there...
p.p.s. - what's with the infractions?

Guys, he just doesn't know the market, or lack thereof. No harm, no foul, but monumentally off base on value.....

for 200 you can get a chrome rim 15inch from tire rack
That's for a trash bunt but for a mint condition bunt like his I think is worth at least $40. People pay around $35 to power coated their old bunts

If you really want $200 for it, slap on a fresh, brand new Michelin tire on the mint wheel.

Mine has a Continental on it. Did they even come with Michelins from the factory? This reminds me to pull my NOS one out of the car and replace it with a standard one before I get another flat. Luckily the last flat was in my driveway, so it was an easy fix.
Partsman225: You can, but it won't be a bundt. Performance Products sells a chrome 14" bundt.

Factory tires were Michelin and Continental, among others. I too had Continentals.
