S55 18" wheels on a 97 SL320?

I know about offsets and such, Information needed is " I put them on my can and they didn't rub " . The goal is to have a set of daily wheels / tires and a track day set. I'd likely end up sticking with the stock SL320 tire size, the S class tire size is for reference.

It seems cars in this era use 12 or 14 mm wheel bolts, any isea what the S class uses?

Vital Dimensions below.

Thanks

My SL320 sport came factory with these tires and wheels:

Front
245 40 ZR18 on 8J X 18 H2 ET31 HWA 129 401 01 02 ( Hollander 560- 65239 ) AMG Monobloc II ( 2 ) These are the wide 5 spoke

Rear
275 35 ZR18 on 9J X 18 H2 ET35 HWA 210 401 02 02 ( Hollander 560-65240 ) AMG Monobloc II

Some of these wheels were aparently used on 99-02 E class and possibly others

The S55 / S500 wheels seem to be more common, but are narrow spoke 0.5"" wider and different offset.

Front
245/45/18 on 8.5JX18 ET 44 HWA 220 401 08 02, ( also cast # A220 401 20 02 ) Hollander 560-65199 AMG, might be Monobloc III ( 3 ) narrow spoke

Rear
275/40/18 on 9.5JX18 ET 46 HWA 220 401 09 02, Hollander 560-65200

Stock offset for the 16s is 34, FYI. Not sure about the SL 18s, but that will be a key number. These are also very wide, and the stock-offset SL 18s are already very aggressive if you've seen them on 99-02 129s. They will be heavy as lead compared to stock. I'd go 17s especially on a 6cyl SL.

18 inch offset wheels for the SL500 were 25mm ET front and 18" x 8.5" and 18" x 9.5" x 23mm ET rear. These require 15mm spacers up front and no spacers in the rear for a 560SL. They should go on any 129 without spacers. Tires are 225 40 fronts and 275 35 rears. My wife does not appreciate the ride with these.

No doubt. The 17s are harsh enough, but tolerable.
