380 Engine temp sensor....part number?
I'm still fighting the dreaded high idle condition on my '85 380. I suspect the culprit may be the engine temp sensor which (If I recall correctly) is located above the oil filter. Does anyone have a part number or proper name for this part?
Thanks! PS I'm also looking for two plug wires as mice apparently chewed through the insulation on mine. If you have a partial set please let me know.

The coolant sensor controls idle speed. It should be on ther rear of the pass side head. You are thinking of the oil temp sensor, which turns on the lambda electronics and puts CIS into closed loop mode.
