That is pretty rad. I do not like the 124 sedans unless they're done up like that or something similar. I don't even like black wheels, but it's working, looks awesome, good job!

I dont think it would be that hard to squeeze in a V8, with the battery in the trunk, and if you relocated the fuse box, the cubby holes could be rearranged, and the stuff on the inner fender wells is pretty moveable. Especially if you went EFI, shoot... Seems to free up a lot of space. It does make you appreciate the little "Rover" V8s though. Why cant more companies do that?

How quick are they?

Beautiful car, theres an excellent expose on it (your car Vladamir) in a Mercedes Enthusiast magazine, the August edition. A quote " Just two RHD cars were made for the UK. This was the first, the original customer and press demo of Strattons......The other belonged to Jeff Lynne, leader of the Electric Light Orchestra (EMO), who wrote it off" . Rare indeed!

So just how rare is that type of steering wheel? This is the one that came on my 190D:

Hehehe I haven't really noticed that my 300 CE has some rare parts after I found this site. Such as AMG hood and steering wheel. Actually I'm looking for front & rear AMG bumps but not easy to find it.
