My favorite part of the ad:

Quote:
A buddy of mine is a fabricator (how many times have you heard that before) and welded the custom cage you see wrapped in $100 worth of twine. It's 1-inch square stock that goes down into the pillars and then welded into the rear parcel shelf. The car is surprisingly rock sold for having the roof cut off.
$100 worth of twine??? That settles it! This car is mine!

Here are two pictures of the car:

Did it never occur to them that the whole backseat (except maybe for the center-rear) is rendered useless by the "$100-dollars-worth-of-twine" cage? Also, i can't imagine that this thing is pleasant to drive with the springs cut to that extent (the seller says that the springs are cut).

add to that the fact they terminated the rear of the cage to the parcel shelf (also mentioned in the ad and not a structural member for those of you keeping score at home) so if you did manage ever to need the protection it suggests it would fold like a bad poker hand. bet that $100 worth of twine would give ya $200 headache

You are correct that you will need a high hemp content to enjoy this car.
