Crumple Zone

Ouch .. but I bet the front doors still opened. Safety may be the best reason for driving a Benz.

That police car looks like it was hit by a train!!
I don't know about safety of anybody sitting in the back seat. Kind of scary. And this in a car that is supposed to be safe.

Well, if it was hit by a truck that was going fast...

Police car made traffic stop, got hit by passing truck? (Looks like that truck up ahead is pulled over to the side...)

I'm a volunteer for the FD in my town, and we get a decent amount of extrications because of the parkway... you would be surprised just how easily alot of these new cars can look worse than that cop car.

There was this one more recent accident, maybe a year ago, that involved a benz getting hit by a front-loader. Pretty good crunch, but to be honest, she would have lost her legs if it were any other car, imho. It was a mid 90's wagon, iirc, hit on the front driver's side.

I'd love to take that FD vehicle out for a spin... though that cop car would make a GREAT Fire Prevention vehicle
