Om617 injector pump and governor

Hello.
Thanks for a great forum. This is my first topic, so be kind if i do any wrong.
I have a om617 engine from a 300d used in a snowgroomer.. The engine should have a fixed rpm when trottel is fixed. I think the solution is to find a governor from a tractor or generator? And another question, is it possible to use a governor from some other MB engine (or bosch powered engine) ? It is difficult to find a parts list.
Pardon my English

Regards
Prebus

Your English is fine. You might do well to speak with someone at a fuel injection shop. Just tell the situation and ask if they could add any infomation.

Also look right in the middle of the engine block right below where the block and the cylinder head come together on the fuel injection pump side and post the number. That will tell us what type of engine you have.

It could be hard to see.

Also, if you did change the governor the fuel injection pump should go to a fuel injection shop to be calibrated.
