heat only works on highest temp settting
My 82 300D has the "automatic" climate control system with the temperature wheel on the left side. For some reason, the only way you can get the heat to work is if the wheel is all the way to the highest temperature setting. If the wheel is at any other setting, the air is always cool/outside temperature. Wondering if this is a Mono-valve issue? Thoughts?

If it works on the highest setting, the monovalve is open. You likely have some sort of problem in the temp wheel itself or in the controller module in the dash.

Moving the wheel to the DETENT max heat setting opens the monovalve ground circuit, overriding the temp control regulator.
