Where are your Sandens made (country of origin)? A major problem for me is sending large sums of cash in the mail. I will NOT do it. In small amounts that i won't care if lost yes, but not several hundred $.

Um, not to be rude... but you didn't answer the question.

Are your compressors made in China or by Sanden?

I can buy a Motorola pager made in China by Motorola or a Motorola pager made in China by the Chinese knockoff plant down the street from the real factory.

I want the Motorola that Motorola makes.

So what do you sell?

Funola asked where they are made. I linked the video. It clearly explains where they are made and more.
I sell the same compressor that Nostalgic Air Parts sells (SSB= Shanghai- Sanden-Behr) made in China.
From their website Š海‰”贝洱汽车空ƒœ‰™…司
"Shanghai Sanden Behr Automotive Air Condition-ing Co., Ltd. (original: Shanghai Ek Chor General Machinery Co., Ltd., hereinafter referred to as "the SSB") is a Joint Venture established by four parties, as Shanghai Auto-mobile Stock Company, Shanghai Long-hua Industry Company, Japan Sanden Co., Ltd. and German Behr Co., Ltd.. There are four subordinated enterprises as Sanden (Shanghai) Automotive Air-conditioning Co. Ltd. and Shanghai Behr Thermal Systems Co., Ltd.. Not only the company is the largest plant in land specializ-ing in serial assemblies of car A/C system and compre-ssor, but also it has the abilities to develop car thermal system with integrated technique and supply whole set products for OEM."

Many cars with AC use Sanden compressors. The issue is finding the right one that fit rollguy's kit. Maybe he can post key dimensions so we can determine which ones fit and which ones do not.

Here are the details of my purchase:

So based on daw_two's experience and Mach4"s list, the following vehicles compressor should work except for the head which may need to be swapped?

DODGE, Dakota, 98-94, Sanden SD7H15
DODGE, Pickups (Fullsize), 00-92, Sanden SD7H15
JAGUAR, XJ6 (Vanden Plas), 96-93, Sanden SD7H15
JAGUAR, XJ12, 94-93, Sanden SD7H15
JAGUAR, XJS, 96-93, Sanden SD7H15
JAGUAR, XJR, 96-93, Sanden SD7H15
JEEP, Cherokee, 98-94, Sanden SD7H15
JEEP, Wrangler, 97, Sanden SD7H15
VOLKSWAGEN, Eurovan, 95-92, Sanden SD7H15
VOLVO, 960 Series, 95-93, Sanden SD7H15

Is this it or are there other Sanden compressor options that will fit?

Will all the junk yard take offs require the head to be switched?

Do any of these vehicles come with the correct head?

And some of us have plenty of manufacturing experience with China... and don't want or want to support that crap.

Many of the late eighties and nineties Volvo's have the Seltec compressor based on the Sanden design that I think would work.

Most likely the will not and will need custom hoses or a new head to make it work.

Here is a good video on changing the oil, if you are using R-12 or 134a.
