My 87 300 sdl was vandalized twice in 7 days, So I had a shop install an alarm system,,, the shop could only activate the door hood and trunk alarm, function. They said the remote door lock could not work due to the low current output of unit even with relays,, to move the vacuum locks. To add further grief,, they refused to hook up the remote starter. { I kind of understand why. } But at least I have a blue light flashing and door security. Has anyone have any suggestions on how to wire up the remote door lock function? I bought a used electric door lock and was thinking that using that to act as a means to move the trunk lock and over ride the vacuum system. the unit sends out 0 to 100 mv,, and this project is a little out of my experience. Any thoughts on this is appreciated. Thank you and Cheers DD.
