hazard lights and turn signals will not work at all.
I have a 1984 300d turbodiesel that has a problem. The hazard lights and turn signals do not want to work at all. I have checked the fuse and it seems like everything is okay regarding that, because everything else that uses that fuse is working tachometer etc. Does it seem like it it might be the relay for both. Please someone tell me the proper steps to diagnose the problem. I have the electrical schematics for that part of the car, but I dont know how to see if it is the relay. Thank you for the help.

I would spray some contact cleaner on the hazard switch and see if that fixes the problem.

There is a relay the runs both the signals and the hazards. It's under the center wood gear shift console. When you flip the swtich you should hear it clicking or feel it clicking if you grab it. Try cleaning the hazard swtich and see if that helps. If not the relay is likely toast.

X2 relay
This was an issue with my vehicle when I went to pick it up from the PO. All signals were dead. He replaced the flasher relay. This also made the antenna and sunroof operable
