Primer Pump leak

Hey guys. I replaced the primer pump on the 300D turbo a while back and noticed that the primer pump was leaking. NO biggie i guessed, so I put a new cooper washer on the primer pump and the damn thing is still leaking. Kinda puzzled on what's going on??? The primer pump is Febi new style pump and it's torqued quite good. It doesn't leak much, but the leak might be sucking in air, which I'm concerned about. any ideas???

When you replaced the first one, did you make sure you got out the old copper washer? I just replaced mine like 30 minutes ago and I almost didn't take it out, it was in there pretty good, I used an awl to get it out.

Even if I make sure that there's nothing in the way, I've also sometimes had trouble seating the metal crush washers.

A trick my dad taught me a few years back was to work the fastener back and forth, nudging it slightly tighter each time you snug it. This helps bed the softer metal washer into any imperfections of the faces that it's sealing against.

This has worked well for my oil pan plug, the banjo bolts, as well as the primer pump so far.

Mine is leaking too also a Febi, I also replaced the crush washer and it still leaks. Definitely no old washer in there.

Is it actually leaking down by the Crush Washer or is it leaking from above and running down to the Crush Washer?

This concerns a Bosch hand primer. But, one of the members bought a Bosch hand primer that leaked. He returned it for an exchange and that one leaked also.

He returned that one and got his money back.
Still needing a Hand Primer Pump he decided that, that Lot of hand primers at the store he went to must all be defective.
He went to a different store and bought another and that one turned out to be good.
