220d 615 glow plug upgrade kit help

The kit that fastlane sells, does it have all the parts and instructions? I have read all the post on upgrades. I am confused on the knob style install for the 615. What is the best way to do this?

I'd just buy 4 retrofit pencil plugs, disconnect the ground wire from the loop plugs, put the hot wire to the first plug at the firewall and make jumper wires to go from plug to plug. No need for a relay if you have the gorilla knob. If you have an existing relay it should work with the new plugs.

Thanks. Yeah i am leaning that way. Does the gorilla knob have a relay that I can check? I looked under the drivers dash and firewall but no silver box.

There is no relay or fuse with that system, just install the 4 pencil plugs with no ground attached and just use some 10 gauge wire to connect the glowplugs.
