Stop lever and run away engine!!! HELP

Well, i'm oficially screwed...

OM601 engine and Bosch IP

Today I was preping the car for the anual inspection and a funny thing happened, I turned the key, the engine fired up and...full throttle by itself!!!
Man I was in panic, turned off the key and nothing, pressed the stop lever and it wouldn't rotate, fast thinking and I quickly disconected the fuel hose from the injectors, it stopped...
Started looking for the problem, whent straight to the IP, removed air filter housing and to my surprise the stop lever was loose and droped to the floor,
the locking "ring" that secures the lever's shaft was missing and the nut from the lever too!!! The shaft has entered the IP body a litlle and something must have disconected!!! And now guys?? I don't want to remove the IP!!

How can I take a look inside?

Please helppppp!!!

I'm no mechanic, but ....

Don't take it from me, I know just enough to be dangerous most of the time, but I did replace my Shut Off Valve (SVO) on my 1991 300d. It really wasn't that bad, replacing it. Looking at it, and trying to figure out what to do, even after reading previous posts, was the hard part. Once I got to it, it wasn't that bad. Had to take off the cruise control assembly, etc.

When I put the new one in, there was a metal piece that slides into a shaft area of the tube. If you're missing a part that went down that tube, try to get something magnetic or one of those little grabbers that come out of a cable perhaps. Maybe that'll help in your situation.

Email me directly if you have any questions, I'm not on the forum that often.

The problem is that I can't see inside the IP, in this pic what is the shut off valve, the one in blue or the one in red? Can I remove the blue one so I can see inside?

If you see the Stop lever it's on a wrong angle!

The blue is your shutoff valve, remove it to access the stop lever rod.

Have a great day.

Ok, removed the SOV and assembled everything correctly, working fine now!
I hope no there's no damage to the engine, it red lined for about 30 seconds!

The problem was that the stop lever got losse and the litlle pin on the SOV disconnected from the stop lever's inside "arm", so neither the SOV and the stop lever cutted the diesel flow, the inside harm of the stop lever rotated down and jammed the accelerating shaft of the IP on full throtle position!
