Anyone still have the original signature sticker on windshield?
I had to replace the windshield on my 1983 300D W123, so now I don't have that signature sticker on the passenger side of the glass.
The sticker that Mercedes is using today is still readily available (even on ebay), but I prefer the old style. It has the signature, then says "A Mercedes-Benz Product" above the writing in pretty large bold type. (The new one has it below the writing in much smaller type.) This is a ridiculously trivial item, but I'd love to restore this detail. If anyone has this sticker on their 80s-era Mercedes, I'll pay you if you scrape it neatly off your windshield. Please?

I have it, but its cracking from 23 years of sun. the part number on mine starts with 115

yes and no....
My current car does not; however, past cars have. I can't imagine being able to scrape it off "neatly".

My 85 300D,79 300SD and 73 450SE parts car all have it.
My 78 300D, 87 300D, and 78 450 SEL 6.9 do not

Dealer sells them for about $2.50.....I had to buy two of them when my original windshield got smashed by a rock, the next windshield cracked after 2 months, and now I have one thats been ok. So I am on my 3rd sticker.
 Looks very nice though....and the dealer will think you are weird for wanting one.   Just ask for the "windshield MB signature sticker" at the parts counter....they should know what you mean.

Mine's missing it and I didn't know the dealer still had them. Will be getting one next time I'm near the place for sure.

I always keep a couple around. The dealer is very good about any little miniscule part I ever need.
