Our local U-pick yard (not associated with "Pick-n-Pull") Had a 50% off sale the day after thanksgiving. My dad and I spent 4.5 hours there that day in 17 degree weather. We stripped just about every usable part off a euro SEL.

I've always wanted to make a sofa or a chair out of a crown vic bucket seat or the bench seat in the back, very comfy... I think I will because the STL pick and pull is full of fords. Only saw I MB diesel there, an S-Class with the steering wheel worn smooth, must have had 300k+ miles.

Ahh the snobbery of the 99 E300TD owners. Oh wait I used to own one of those, never mind

The problem is when Mercedes stops making parts for your car. Then you have to go to the junk dealer, excuse me, slightly used auto parts dealer. The bottom trim part on the B column on the W123 is no longer available. I smashed my sons while installing the drivers seat. Called the dealer, no longer available.

Decided to go to the Ft Worth location late this after noon. 2 W123's and a couple of W126's. A Euro W123 (230E) had the color of my daughters interior so I robbed it of all the seat and side trim parts. I'll go back for a few other pieces tomorrow. I ran out of time.
