2005 cdi spotted on long island
Hello forum members,
I was returning from a visit to Brooklyn yesterday, I pulled over in Roslyn to mail a letter and pulled behind a CDI that had new york plates on it. It turned out to be a 2005 CDI, what gives, I had tought that no diesels 2003 or newer where not to be registerd in ny until mid of this year. does any body know what the regs are? used cars with more than IIRC 10k miles can be brought in to states that do not allow new diesels to be sold.. Thats what the rules are in cali

7500 miles actually, thats how we got the TDI passat.
