It could be the case. Looks like it is an old person (cane in the picture) so maybe he/she doesn't get out much. I think it is unlikely though that milage is accurate. Also it I don't know how they corrode over time inside vs outside but their appears to be a bit on the valve cover and all over.
Missing a piece of trim but not a big deal. I have a feeling it may have been outside for awhile though (has 3 cars I doubt this one got the garage as it looks like there is needles or leaves in the rain gaurd to the engine compartment) Other thing that always gets me is when people say "leather seat" really kinda tells you how much they know about the car. So again sometimes milage doesn't mean anything it is about maintnance (been said a million times). I have a car that has 129K but the engine blew a headgasket and had a hard time with the cylinders sitting in the open for awhile. Also had a repaint. But other than that the car is damn near perfect so it could be great on all other non mechanical aspects. But in all reality it looks like a nice car. I'm just pionting out very small things that in fact don't really matter. I mean shiz...all my cars came from the junkyard or out of the blackberries where they had been sitting for half a decade. I say take a look and let us know. Hey by the way are you comming Portland/Washington GTG?

There does appear to be a little rust along the bottom of the driver's door.

Probaly won't make it to Portaland, 2 small kids to take care of on the weekend. I emailed the seller about service records. I haven't heard back yet. I'll post after I see it in person.

Looks like rust in the engine compartment also. Wish more of the photos were in focus. The carpet in the driver's footwell looks strange. Wonder how long this car sat out in the weather? Definitely look before bidding.

From my limited perspective on a poor angle photo the front seat does not look good enough for the claimed milage. Guess one has to look carefully at any car in person to be fair though. One problem is that he may actually believe it himself even if untrue. This is a car a carfax may help on even though I do not like carfax.

You know something is up with that car. Anybody that tries to hide something always has poor pictures.
And with that kind of mileage nobody has bid? The starting price I'm sure has something to do with that but still if it really is what they claim the mileage to be you'd think somebody would bid. It'll be interesting to see just what it really is when looked at in person. Judging by what it looks like under the hood I'm sure the news won't be great. Do let us know. Cheers, Bill |
