On my 300SD, the tensioner mechanism o nthe alternator is completely missing. I have the bracket it attaches to, which is bent, but no tensioner or assorted hardware. Any idea where I could get the tensioner assembly?
Thanks, Adam |

Its available from fastlane, click the "fastlane" button up on top of this site, put in your year of car, then choose the model, then go to "engine electrical" and they have all the alternator related parts in there....

Thanks, I think I found it. Based on looking at the bracket, I need the 'alternator adjustment bolt' and the 'alternator adjustment nut'. On mine the bracket the nut fits into is bent and the the threaded rod connecting to the bolt going through the bracket is missing.
