Which intake manifold to use on 240D
I am replacing the engine in my 1983 240D with a rebuilt and would like to get opinions on the intake manifold to use. I had bought the car from someone and the engine had been replaced with an earlier year engine (apparently) but I also have an '82 parts car that I can remove everything from. Anyway, I noticed the 82 has the egr valve and oil trap whereas the other engine didn't have either of these and all the vaccum lines were removed. I also noticed the 82 intake has a butterfly like a carbureted engine, whereas the older one doesn't.
Anyone have an opinion on this?
