Where exactly is the VSS for the cruise control located on an '84 300D? Need to know what I am looking for, what it looks like, etc. Also need to know how many PPM it produces (pules per mile) Service CD won't read for some reason.... Thanks, RT

I think it is located on the back of the speedometer. Pull your instrument cluster and there should be a connector at the back of the speedo. It's the only electrical connection on the speedo. My '79 300D's was there and I think the newer ones were there also.
