The iPod is not a PDA. It's a music player. I don't know if it doubles as a multimedia and file storage device like the Archos devices.

"Convergence"
The iPod does have some PDA functionality, but if you want true convergence, it might be found in the Garmin iQue 3600 PDA which is Palm OS based, has built in GPS mapping and vocal directions, voice recorder, mp3 playback and more. ![]() |

On a separate track, I just set-up two iQues. A friend of mine from overseas is visiting and asked me to get an iQue for him while he's touring the US and Canada. After a couple of days with it, he was so impressed that he had me get one for his brother who lives in the US. What's interesting is that neither will be used as a PDA. They're just not PDA kinds of people.
