I've built a few of these... the biggest problem lies in the part where heating a pool when it's 100°F outside... not needed.
it's great during the cooler months to assist warming a small pool, but a proper pool heater is in the300K+BTUH range, and most houses have only around 30Kbtuh equipment...
it does help in the winter if you are dealing with a heat pump, and an inground covered pool, the pool can assist heating the house!
you could always just get a WSHP, and tie it into the pool as the source...
contact florida heatpumps and look up the pool designed systems...

Yeah, I know it's not ideal. His pool heater is 450k BTU. At least it should save on the home AC bill.

There's a valve that will switch the heat away from the pool once the desired temp is reached so it's not trying to heat all the time.

another thing you can do is drop a coil of 3/8 line into the system, and use it as a desuperheater... chlorine will do a number on copper line though...

How many times do I have to tell you Jimmy that butter and MB tex are NOT compatable??? It is only compatable with leather. I believe it is stated in the FSM somewhere.

You failed to add in your sig line whether your car has MB Tex or leather. That should be required.

Plus, your "marginal" cooling could be due to using "margarine", one of the butter substitutes.
More junk refrigerant !!!

Thanks for the laughs whiskey !!

What are these peanuts you speak of.

...............Now, here is where practicality comes in. I know VERY LITTLE about WVO fuel management, but it seems to me that it would be much more difficult to keep it in liquid state during the Winter when the a/c is not being used. For those of you messing with WVO, is there even any trouble keeping it liquid when ambient is high enough to require a/c?
While it would be possible to heat the WVO/SVO some using this system it would still be nessesary to use engine coolant or oil to heat the SVO prior to injection for correct atomization. This could help some in keeping WVO/SVO from becoming solid, but you would probably still need an intake heater for those cold winter months.

This was at -10F, Regular #2 dyed diesel on the left, 50/50% SVO/#2 mix, and 99% pure SVO on the right.

As you can see the diesel has reached the cloud point, the mixed fuel is pretty much completely solid, and the SVO is hard as a rock.
