1963 220SE worth?
I am trying to move a 1963 220SE sedan that is straight and complete to a new home. Not sure what these are worth and if there is a market for parts. The motor and fuel injection are working and complete but the body has rust.
Please respond with any suggestions or advice. Regards! Last edited by schneidercom; 02-16-2025 at 01:34 PM. |

Consider having the "AI" bot do more homework before coming to class.

You probably have a 220SE. Parts have value. Look on ebay to see what they are. Search for w111 .
BAT or Hagarty or CL would give you ideas about entire car value. |

knowing where it is helps. Cosmetics matter, like chrome, interior and overall look.
If it's a parts car, it's under 2k in the US. -CTH |

Yes, its a 220SE
Its located outside of Philadelphia. Are there sites dedicated to these models that would be a good resource to offer it?

Where is the rust? If the replacement parts like fenders and doors or the trunk lid then all that takes is searching for rust free parts (good luck) or lots of Bondo. But if it is in the frame you will need a good floor or replacement pans.
I have welded in patches to floors with good used pans. The trunk floor can also be replaced. But if the rust is in the frame sections then it's part car time. And that's where Ebay comes in. Check for similar FI parts and what they have sold for, not their asking price. And maintaining a FI car from that era is not cheap going forward. |

Is this the one with the extra long rear doors? If so it is worth a bit more just for them. I have seen those cars, in totally showroom condition, sell for around thirty five grand.
Condition is everything. |
