‘70 W114 250C Exhaust

I need to replace the exhaust system on my car. Not the manifold.

Again trying to go back to factory floor conditions, who made the exhaust and can you still get it?

Thanks!

Probably made by Eberspacher.

ANSA makes the final muffler, which I guess is really the resonater. It is part number ME 0897.

I know the front down pipes are NLA, but I think the rest of the system is still available if you look hard enough.

A good muffler shop can make the pipes you need. Just finding the center muffler and the resonater will be the tough part.

ANSA might also still make the muffler. BOSAL would be a good place to look but I doubt they would carry a stock muffler as they tend to be more of the stainless performance type of thing.

I found the resonator on the brand X site Rock Auto. I checked Peachparts and all they have for the exhaust on this car are the gaskets and hangers. But they are the original so you might want to look at them.

The other site has a good blow up of the system, like something out of an old J. C. Whitney catalog.

You might also contact the Classic Center. They would know where to get these parts if anyone would.

Look up Timevalve Manufacturing. They've got stainless options for vintage M-Bs.
