W108 Dash Wood

Hi Anyone know how to remove the dash wood from a W108, 280SE? Does the Dash need to be removed? Thanks

It's many years since I've done this. The bow on top of the dash right up against the windshield is removed after you take off the two covers on the A pillar.

As for the rest I'm not sure but the glove compartment door can be removed separately from the rest of it.

I can't remember if you have to take off the dash pad before removing the rest of the wood or not but the dash pad, and the wood is actually attached to a metal frame which is part of the car. It's not like later cars with the foam rubber molded dashes.
