72 w108 door seals weatherstripping source

I know this question has been asked in the past, but has anyone found a good source for good quality, decently priced door and windshield weatherstripping?

I found a kit on Millers Mercedes. But OMG $1700 for the kit?!! I'm assuming it's mercedes oem brand at that price.
I hear the ones from the Turkish Ebay seller are bad quality. i'll stay away from that.

Are there any German supplier websites out there that any of you know of?

Or... i'm even considering adapting modern automotive weather stripping technology and putting double seals. one on the door and one on the door jamb. i see custom car builders using this.
Thoughts? (btw this car is a driver. all stock. not a show car of any caliber)
PS don't blast me on this. I'm all about keeping the car as stock as possible with the budget i have)

Thanks!

mbclassics dot de

I support pelican often but I'm not going to be gouged my mb mark ups on certain items. Door seals being outrageously inflated imo. My 115 door seals from this site were excellent, oem as far as i could tell and reasonable.

Great. So your experience with them was pretty hassle free?.. being that it's a foreign supplier? I've never bought anything from Germany before. How long does it take to ship?

Since you are in the LA the Classic Center in Irvine is you best choice. They offer a discount for Mercedes Benz Club members. There might be local dealers who also offer discounts.

BMA Parts . com

I found this site that has door seals. 3 of the doors made by CRP and 1 door made by Lemfoerder.

WHY CANT THEY ALL BE LEMFOERDER!

anyone know if CRP is a good brand?

No hassle with that site. The guy is great. Give yourself some time for shipping, 10-14 days maybe.
Classic center is great but 200+ per seal for 115 versus 80€ each at the time i bought mine.
I think he adjusts prices as the euro craters, unfortunately.
