pintail cars in Sun Valley, CA
Just thought I'd pass along that last Saturday I was at U-Pick, a junk yard in Sun Valley (LA area, off the Penrose exit from the 5 freeway), and saw 2 pintail cars (the ones with fins, whatever the correct term is) parked next to each other. Both are white, and are pretty rough, but MOST of the parts appeared to be there. Not very much rust that I could see. Red interior on the convertible car. At least one of them is a gas-engine 220.

Just to clarify, there is NOT a W111 Convertible at U-pick. There is a 196x 190 SEDAN that has had the roof completely cut off, and a 1960 220b sedan. No temp senders, no radios, no great interior parts. The 220b has OK-ish black vinyl seats.

Fearing that perhaps I missed something, I went back yesterday to make sure that there is no coupe there. There isn't. Two sedans, lots of stuff gone. Not much really there.
