1973 280C windshield wiper linkage repair.
Just in time for saftey check and the linkage for passenger side wiper blade is disconnected or broken. Is there a way to fix this without tearing out the dashboard?

Pull the gauge cluster for easiest access to the left end and the glove box for access to the right. It CAN be done from underneath without pulling either of these two but it's a royal PITA.

There should be an aluminum linkage with a socket fitting that pops on to driver's-side wiper mechanism under the dashboard--if it's intact you should be able to reattach it, probably from underneath--good luck
