Cold Running Engine Problem

When I have my 1974 280 running when it is cold outside and the engine hasn't warmed up all the way. When I'm at a stop and push on the gas the engine sounds like it is getting choked and going to stall out. Then after it starts going everything is fine. Is a carb. problem?

Probably. Mine does the same thing until it completely warms up.
