vacuum lines

i have a 79 280e and i want to replace the vacuum lines . they are all different colors in i believe different sizes but i cannot find any where they carry the vacuum lines . anyone got any ideas as to where i can buy them and does any one have a diagram of where all the lines go to ? is this a difficult job? i would like to save some cash a "diy" it. any help would be highly appreciated.

That's an ambitious project. I'm don't know of anyone that sells a replacement kit but when I was considering replacing all mine I found some stuff at McMasterCarr.com that might have worked.

why do them all, I would submit you are in for a arduous task. Most circuits are limited by check valves and such. I have torn many apart in parts cars over 25 years old and many of the lines look like the day they were put it

i wanted to steam clean the engine and didnt want to knock any more lnes off. i got a few disconected already. thats it.

OK so post a pic of the lines off and we can tell you where they go, if they are broken , I have many feet of used lines laying about and probably could help you out
